2012 - Praying to Tiger God

Inside a traditional Chinese temple, generally, a Tiger God is enshrined for worship. Tiger God open it’s mouth is fixed every lunar year on the day of "the waking of Insects" (惊蜇节气)

Whenever, Tiger God's open it’s mouth, Chinese come to worship and pray for turning all their ill lucks into good ones, and for good fortune to be blessed throughout the year. The Chinese also believes that by praying to the Tiger God, they will be protected against all their "Xiao Ren" or Foes who set obstacles in their life.

For lunar year 2012 the date and timing for the “waking of insects” is fixed on March 05 2012 at 12.22pm.
